RASN’s mission is to help pregnant people overcome common barriers to abortion access in southern Saskatchewan.
What does RASN do?
Provide information about abortion and abortion service providers.
Offer support to overcome barriers that are in your way.
Educate the public about abortion and barriers to care in Saskatchewan
What does RASN not do?
We do not perform abortions.
We do not prescribe medication.
We do not provide abortion referrals.
RASN volunteers do not provide or interpret any medical advice, assessment, test result, or diagnosis. Volunteers cannot prescribe or recommend treatments or therapies of any kind. But we can help you find someone who can do all those things.
Find Support
-
If you are considering abortion as your only option or one of several options, RASN volunteers are here to listen without judgement and answer questions about abortion options in Saskatchewan. No matter what you decide, we will support you.
-
RASN offers support with common barriers like: finding a clinic and/or pharmacy that will provide abortion care, ride-shares, travel arrangements, and financial aid.
Financial aid is offered barrier free. Requests are assessed based on your priorities.
-
RASN Volunteers have training and experience to provide support through a medical or surgical abortion.
We are happy to support you via text, phone, or by accompanying you to the appointment or procedure.
Before you meet your volunteer, we will send you a photo and information about them so you know a bit about the person supporting you.
